Default Simple SNG Analyzer

Hey

I made this one primarily to myself as an easy way for me to get some quick stats. I usually keep my email hand histories in Outlook folders as a sort of backup, besides letting PT create a backup copy in a directory.

This little SNG Analyzer app will take any number of these hand historiy files and create some graphs for you. You can filter the SNG's by buyin and date range. It supports multiple SNG's in one file. So if you keep your HH's in Outlook, simply select all those you want, click "Save As" in the file menu and save them all as whatever.txt, it'll find them all in that one file.

It's a very quick mockup. I'm planning on slowly adding some more stats and such, but since this was just meant for myself, i haven't done much of it.

You can get it at http://hidden.multitablehelper.com/SNG_Analyzer.zip

Doesn't need installation, you will need the .NET Framework 2.0 though

If you're worried about spyware, adware and such, simply just don't use it, that's the easiest solution - not that there's any of it in here.

I know this post probably belongs in the Software forum, but since you're the ones that might find it useful, i've posted it in here. If you still think it belongs in the Software forum, then Cit, please move it

Let me know what ya think of it, what you want to see in future versions and such.

When using the HHs saved to the hard drive, it seems to not load them properly... Should it?

Seems i forgot to say that it only works with Party, but i suppose that's what you're trying.

At what step does it fail, does it show the files in the "Input" tab? If it does, does it show the SNG's in the "Hand histories" tab?

What kind of SNG's are they (game / limit)?

Glad to hear

Here's a couple of pics from a small sample of SNG's:

So is this basically a more advanced SNG tracker?

It is in no way more advanced than SNG Tracker (yet ). My analyzer also works on the stored HH's instead of relying on you to import the HH's into the analyzer.

I'm planning on improving on it a lot, but i wanted to see if there was any interest, and to hear what's important to implement.

To clarify- can this tool automatically input multiple HH's from the hard drive folders? Does it regognize HH's already uploaded such that you can run it each day and only pick up the incremental files?

As with the MTH, I'm very interested.

thanks!

It looks great. If I select all files in Outlook I canīt use "save as". It only works if I select one file. It will take forever to do this one by one. What am I doing wrong?

I'm interested. All it should do is automatically import, with no errors and such. When you're disconnected or something SNGTracker will often not read a hand history, that sucks.
