I'm a 10+ year mac enthusiast, but you're better off just getting a cheap PC on the side to play poker.

thanks for the tip. That is what i figured. I'm not a mac user but my neighbor wanted to play. He only has a mac. I told him to get a 300 dollar machine from walmart.

Get a Mac Mini with an Intel processor and Windows for the best of both worlds.

Virtual PC works okay with Party, but I wouldn't recommend it for less than a G5 processor, and Party's latest software changes make it suck (it could be argued that PP's software sucks on Intel PCs too).

Virtual PC works really good with pokerstars, but that's about all. There are a few good Mac poker sites - http://pokeronamac.com

Oh, and I can play two tables at WPEX with virtual PC pretty good...

The new PP advertisement has the guy opening up the cadillac page on a mac. I look forward to a long "WTF PP IS DOWN" saturday in the zoo some time soon.

Full Tilt has a Mac client and the OnGame (PokerRoom) network has a Java client.
