UTG+1 limps, I raise button with

Side note- I'm on one of the longest break even stretches I've ever had. 3 weeks and counting. VP$IP is lower than ever before over the last few thousand hands....19%. |

looks ok, the limper might just be trying to steal on the river when the low bricked, i doubt he has you beat.

I might have bet this flop, hoping to get any stragglers calling for low out of there, not to mention giving a free card to a gutshot that would not have called. Perhaps I'd check the turn then, if it didn't help me. I'm fairly sure you wouldn't be facing 2 bets cold this way. If you get check-raised on the flop, at least it defines the hands a bit better.

Your play is fine on every street. I might have even 3-bet the turn given the equity you have.

This turn spot is really close IMO.
Highly table dependent,too. I usually flat call figuring sometimes I get a call behind me, and expecting that very few hands call a three bet. If there had been more players and action in this hand I would have probably three bet this turn. |
