River question..large-ish pot
$1/$2 NL 6 max.
Read: Villain is a typical player (read as not good but not horrible). He started with a med stack and doubled up with a set. He did make smallish bets with his J5 from the BB on all 3 streets into a Jxx flop as I called him down with QJ and beat him. MP raises to $10, Villain ($280) calls. I have the table covered and call with QQ. Pot is $33. Flop T74 all clubs and I dont have the Qc. MP checks, Villain bets $8 and I raise to $30. MP folds and villain calls. Pot $93 Turn offsuit 2. He check / calls my $60 bet Pot $213. River offsuit 5. He checks and has $180 left. Whats my play here? I think I have the best hand. He has less than a pot bet left so do I push? The first thing I put him on is AT with the Ac. I have no idea if he would call all in with AT or not. I dont play that many pots where both the villain and I have more than a full stack because I normally play short sessions so I dont get into this spot very often. 1) Push 2) Check behind 3) Value bet approx the same as the turn ($60) |

Re: River question..large-ish pot
I usually push this river and they fold most of the time.
So in this spot just bet 100ish or so. |

Re: River question..large-ish pot
I know its off topic but is just callin preflop your "standard" here ? Does a reraise not make the rest of the hand easier to play?
I'd raise preflop more than 90% of time in this spot. Is this bad? |

Re: River question..large-ish pot
$100 and every T calls. Push and maybe AT calls.
