Default Party $.50/$1

Party sent me $40 to come back and play. I really hate online poker. I mean I despise it. Playing it makes me so angry that even if I could win playing it, it is not worth the emotional disparage.

What I wanted to say, though, is why the hell are bottom limit games so tight? I'm playing $.50/$1.00 and there are like 2-3 players to each flop and usually at least one raise. Where are the donk games? In my local B&M casino we play $5/$10 and it is so much looser and the players are so much worse than Party $.5/$1. It is not worth it for me to play online even because the action locally is so much better and the players are so much poorer.

Are the games similiar at higher limits online, like $3-$6? I thought the lowest limit games would be were all the fish would be at, but these guys were pretty tight and aggressive. I said to myself, why bother playing this low a stakes with these relatively good players and get all frustrated when I can do so much better in my local live game. Also, I think there is a lot of physical information and "feel" information you get from playing live. When I play online I get none of this information, and perhaps this is an important part of my game.

I just hate online poker. How some of you guys can 8-table and not go completely bezerk from frustration is beyond me. How can you get a read or feel about your opponents playing so many tables? Simply from pokertracker data? You might as well be a bot with optimum strategy programmed in and nothing else.

I just hate online poker and I especially hate all these 3-betting check-raising guys at these tables. I get so angry you couldnt pay me money to play online.

They are tight because the players have read a few hold'em books which advocate that style. However, the players are often weak-tight, which is good. Just bet/raise any dangerous looking board and they'll practically give their money to you.

The biggest advantages to playing on line for me include:

a- I love the comute
b- no tipping
c- I can play in my underware
d- lots of selection

Keep looking for the fish. They're all over the place.

I agree with Page and Buzz. Lower rake and no tipping. The number of hands you can play per hour and the comute. Also i have a family and getting in any decent volume of live hands in is near impossible for me. That said there is no online game that is anywhere near as soft/bad as any live low limit game. The 10/20 i play live is softer than most party .50/1.00 games.
