Default Is this a horrible play?

I"m trying to learn Omaha 8. After this hand the guy said I made a horrible play. I'm trying to understand why/if this is bad. Thanks

What I don't get is why people are trying to learn the game at 10/20.

Well it's not like I'm brand new. I feel I have a pretty good grasp on most of the concepts but I still consider myself a NLHE player.

I was just asking if I played this hand badly and for what reason.

ok, I can understand that, but what I'm really wondering about is when/if I shouldn't be raising with the nut high?

I don't really play LO8, but looks like you played it ok, since the flush draw didn't hit until the turn. If the flop was 2-suited, with 3 low cards, then it's a check/fold situation.

The post is missing MP2' river action.

Well its not a horrible play, but its not great, and he said it cause you cost him money, the same reason all players say nasty things.

Theres some (minor) concern that you are sixthed or that the nut low has a draw to sixth you. Id say you need to slow down when the flush draw gets there on the turn. I might bet the turn, maybe not, but i dont think id threebet it.

I dont like leading out at the river, you no longer have the nut high, and i dont think you can bet here for value.

Your only real problem here is that you dont know how many players have the same high as you, and you dont know how vulnerable your high is.

A nut straight, especially a low one, is worth far less than many other nut highs
