Default PFR gets draw

you are CO with JQo. no limpers and you raise standard raise. button calls, SB folds, BB calls.

flop is 49T, BB checks. do you bet?

Stack size would be important here.

I usually pot it, but sometimes check behind since our draw is so strong that I don't mind not winning this hand on the flop.

I would always pot it (or close to it, I usually underbet the pot slightly), because I continuation bet almost always and it would make no sense for me not to.

This depends on your image IMO. If you have been c-bet a lot, then yes I would bet this as it makes ur play standard. If you are known for not c-bet( from previous hands) then a check isnt all that bad. The key here is how can you best disguise ur hand. Checking also gives villain an ooportunity to draw to a second best hand, but this requires much more caoution as the board may blank.

this is the thing.. if you're being beaten, and bet, you may be raised, or called. if you check and villan bets, you're getting the same (or better if villan were to raise) odds. sometimes villan will be beating you and check behind to give you a free card.

Nothing about potting this flop seems rational to me.
