I think we may have avoided this tricky spot by re-raising preflop. I'd make it ~$60 altogether. If he goes over the top of that, I'm out.

Can't say I agree w/ this at all.

This is full ring right? Nitfest? Playing for set value doesn't seem too bad.

I am also not found of reraising PF. Does playing for set value mean you think if I dont hit a set I should give up on the flop?

Table has been fairly tight, nothing wild.

I think this is one of those play it safe, wait for a better spot folds. QQ,KK play postflop this way.

I tend to fold here too.

But if you really want to play the hand, then I would raise the flop over calling and leading the turn.
