Default Phil Hellmuth on VH1\'s next \"Surreal Life\"

http://www.powerwrestling.com/news/board.php?Show=2537

"A professional poker player by the name of Phil Hellmuth did an interview on Sirius Satellite Radio earlier today. He said that he will be on the next season of VH1's Surreal Life along with Playboy Playmate Tina Jordan, rock musician Peter Steel, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. At the moment, there is no word yet as to when the new season will kick off."

I'd love to see an entire house full of poker players, but him and Macho Man should be a show to watch.

I can't imagine that Phil Hellmuth doesn't have enough going on that he has to appear on the Surreal Life

Phil is supposedly "the nicest guy you'll ever meet" when he's not playing poker. Who the hell wants to watch that?

As much as people may hate him, how is he on this? Hes still in the limelight in what he does, so this makes no sense. Maybe they offered him tons of money or maybe hell be the coach or something weird.

seems to me that surreal is the "elephant graveyard" of celebrities. it's where they go to die. Does this mean philly dilly will is done? many of "us" might care but could this be the 1st sign that poker is no longer mainstream?

A poker player gets a spot on a pretty popular reality show and that means poker is no longer mainstream?

A poker player gets a spot on a pretty popular reality show where they make fun of washed up celebrities and that means poker is no longer mainstream

It's on TV so I imagine Phil will be in full gimmick mode complete with UB jacket and sunglasses 24/7. I just hope he keeps his shirt on.
