Default Reraise TT

$2/$4 NL 6 max....no reads

MP raises to $16, button calls. I reraise to $52 with TT. MP folds but button calls.

I have a full $400 and he has me covered.

Pot $120. Flop 995. I bet $100 and he calls.
Pot $320 Turn 2.

Check / fold?
Push?
Other ideas?

C/F is the best bet here, especially if the flop is rainbow.

Agreed. C/F, although lower pockets are not completely out of the question. Sucks that he's behind you.

C/C or C/R if he doesn't shove.

This is a board that he's quite likely to float on, and smallish pairs are surely in his range.

Besides, I would think that he's re-raising JJ+ most of the time, PF.

If he checks behind, VB river, for like half pot, fold to a raise. I realize we're getting sweet pot odds, but he is never ever bluffing.

For those advocating a fold, what about JJ? Certainly QQ isn't a c/f?

why do you reraise preflop with no idea the range he calls your reraise with or the range he is likely to float you with?

nm, sorry, didn't realize button called. this is much tougher. I would say you see a better overpair much more often here than a lower pair if button is decent.

If I was the villain, i'm ahead in the hand about 95% of the time here. I'll take villain's line with AA/KK sometimes because it usually gets all the chips in the middle when he has QQ-TT. I will rarely float a flop like this with an underpair, I just don't think its profitable against most opponents.

Of course, I'm not the villain here. But I think you're behind more often than not.

If I push, do you think he calls with JJ? QQ?

If I had AA / KK, here I would push the turn every time.

Obviously you do, if you're pushing with AA/KK. I would tend to agree.

FWIW, I would take my proposed line with any big pair, except I'm calling the a river raise with AA/KK sometimes QQ, or maybe shoving river.
