I would rr to $15 pf, but I have trouble w/ these hands.

I'd hope MP3 folds and I get an AI w/ MP2.

If MP3 calls and the flop is the same.... hmmm... I guess I push... don't listen to me IMHO...

This is what I mean:

1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to $5</font>, 3 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $15</font>

Yeah, sorry, wasn't thinking about that time.

I didn't want to do that because I thought it was optimal to now play for set value or undercards against MP3.. me calling would effectively end the betting I think.

I didnt want to get into a raising war with JJ against a 100bb stack pre flop re-raiser (although maybe his range is a bit wider because he's re raising a short stack)

but why would you re-raise a hsort stack? you're trying to get it all in before you see any cards, right, so he could hold a bunch of lower pocket pairs as well?

I think your goal here is folding the bigger stack, so you can be AI vs. a worse hand from shorty and bigger stack's dead money.

Also, I think bigger stack's pfrr is light here, so you're hopefully ahead of his range, although it's easy to get yourself in hot water here....
