So I just bought Starcraft & other games...

I was so intrigued by the Starcraft videos of competition in Korea and stories about SlayerS_Boxer and ElkY that I went to the mall and bought the game today, as well as Broodwar, Halflife2, and CS:Source.

The only games I have played in the last 3 years are Halo, TopSpin, and an FPS called Delta Force (Land Warrior and Task Force Dagger).

Getting to the point, beyond the strategy guide that comes with this expansion pack are there any other decent online resources where I can learn to get better at the game? I am competition-fueled with any game I get so I would like to not suck at this game by the end of the summer. Also, are there any other terrible Starcraft players on the east coast that would like to duel sometime?

Clayton : It is very important to make full use of everything at all times. Early in the game this means NO IDLE WORKERS EVER, and constant production. Late in this game it means SPEND ALL YOUR MINERALS.

RTS (Real Time Strategy) games like Starcraft are so freaking addicting that its not even funny. I used to play Age of Empires II and I would never feel like eating, going to the bathroom, or doing anything else when I was playing. I spent like 4 hours a day playing that and it sucked away my life. Luckily, my parents got me off of it. Now I play poker, way less addicting than an RTS game. Those other games aren't addicting though, they are fun to play every once in a while.
