Default Incredible 30/60 party game

average pot size is like $620 right now. Do these games normally get this wild? I normally dont play this high, but I couldnt pass this up

I scooped the second hand I was there for to the tune of like $600, but this 30/60 game is now officially kicking my ass. Gotten rivered three hands in a row.

Bah, im in tears anyway.
Summary: 52 hands played, 7 hands voluntarily played, 1 scoop, no chops, -$903.

What can i say, I probably messed up my bankroll a bit, but it was a great game and id have done it again. One guy had a vpip of like 80. The average VPIP at the table was like 40.

This will however teach me not to give you [censored] for complaining about variance.

Party lies like a mofo.

I don't know how many times I've seen good looking pot sizes and then I sit down and find everyone folding to the small blind, who folds. Or everyone folding to the button, who raises. Or one limper and three to the flop, etc.

Party waits until after you've taken a seat, THEN they update the actual pot size to be realistic.

Don't forget pot sizes are misleading. You and I could flop quads vs. a straight flush and fire that pot size right up. Sometimes the best games have the small pot sizes because of the passive nature of the players.

Yeah but I had an HUD going and it reported average pot as somewhere in the $500+ range, which is still a great game in my book. Did I mention the average VPIP of 40 or the guy with the VPIP of 80?
