Default 5/10 short-handed vs CaptZEEbo

Within 2 minutes of sitting down I could tell CZ is in hyper-aggro mode, raising every other hand, betting every flop, etc. On the turn I was fairly sure I had the best hand, then he made it interesting and I wasn't so sure anymore.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($190)
UTG (captZEEbo) ($1000)
MP ($1718)
Hero ($1153)
SB ($390)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
(captZEEbo) raises to $35, 1 fold, Hero raises to $100, 2 folds, (captZEEbo) calls $65.

Flop: ($215) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
captZEEbo checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($215) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
captZEEbo checks, Hero checks.

River: ($215) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
captZEEbo checks, Hero bets $150, captZEEbo raises to $870, Hero ...

I'm pretty sure my A-high is good here, but there's a pretty good chance that he knows it's all I have, so he can check-raise here with a huge range, a lot of which puts him ahead technically speaking. My plan was to call a turn bet, and possibly call a river bet unimproved if necessary.

This isn't the right way to adjust imo.

You have to fold here. You're not best often enough to call I would think.

He def. knows that when you bet the river which makes betting the river pointless, unless you think he'll c/r bluff too often, which isn't the case since you posted it.

Agreed. Sure because of his style you have to make some marginal calls against him, but you decide which hands you check behind - and on which boards - and thus you can decide which hands you want to balance into your range to have when zeebo fires two barrels at you.
