Default New \"IWTSTH\" rule at Foxwoods?

On the drive home yesterday from Foxwoods with fellow 2+2er WarrenWhitmore, he relayed a situation which happened at his 20-40 7cs table. Two players were HU on 7th street. There was a bet and call, the bettor showed, the loser mucked, and the bettor said he wanted to see the loser's down cards. The loser refused, and the floor was called.

The first thing the floor person said to the winner was "Who do you think he's colluding with?"

The winner stammered, "Uh, no one. I just want to see his cards."

And the request was refused.

So, is this now standard at the 'woods?

this happened once before in a 10-25nl game i was in. the floor refused to let the player see the called down hand because he didnt suspect collusion. i agree this should be the industry standard.

Well this game is big enough that this has always been the default rule. The traditional rule in games with at least a 1k buy-in (I don't know what that buy-in is for this game these days, NL games used to be about 40X the big blind)is that the floor must be called for IWTSTH and the hand will not be shown just because someone wants information.

edit to clarify: This was the rule as written in the Las Vegas Hilton rules that was the standard for a long time.
