Default Fighting against the new Washington law

We live in a democratic country. We CAN make our voices heard. Here are some people to contact about this:

Christine Gregoire http://www.governor.wa.gov/contact/govemail.htm

The Seattle P-I (in relation to their recent article):

not that it's worth much, but I was watching Spokane news tonight, and their lead story was the online ban (must be a slow news day...)

they were interviewing local card rooms, and pretty much noone even knew about the bill, and they dont really think it's a good idea...

The news also said that the suporters of the bill aren't really targeting people with it, but gambling sites based in WA. I thought that was interesting. They also said that nobody has ever been arrested or prosecuted in the entire US for gambling online...

I can't imagine enforcement of this law is going to be a high priority. I mean, who is the victim here? Who is calling the cops? Some guy I sucked out on??

This is where I stopped reading.

You are a slave to the following:
a) The majority
b) Politicians elected by said majority

Unless you are a privelaged special interest group with some money, you're [censored].
