Trip Report: Embarassing....
Alright, well most of my buddies are out of town for the summer, so last night I decided to go hit up the old Desert Diamond in Tucson here. I usually just play 3/6 and shoot the [censored] with the regulars there.
I get there at 5, sit in the 4 seat, and recognize 3 of the players. Thats ok, because the other 5 people consist of 1 asian lagtard, one calling station, one passive rock, and a husband/wife combo who play cards worse than I have sex. I have my sunglasses on top of my hat and my Ipod in my pocket so Im sure they assumed I was the biggest douche around and couldnt play cards. The night started off relatively slow, lost with 99, won with AJ, blah blah... Soon stuff started to heat up... Im catching every draw, my overpairs are staying good, even with 7 people calling a 3 bet preflop, etc. Its a damn good run, as Im up a rack and a half in about an hour. At this point some people start buying food and beer and whatnot. I get a bud light, and it comes in a cup... first big mistake. Im drinking my bud light in my left hand, because naturally, you dont want to shake hands with a cold, clammy right hand should the situation ever arise. So the beer is in my left hand about a foot in front of my torso, I reach onto the table to fold my hand, and knick the bottom of my beer on the way to the table... I lose grip, it kind of rolls along my right arm, and I end up dumping about 14 ounces of beer onto the table. It was a [censored] deluge. So basically now Im "that guy" for the rest of the night. We had to change tables, luckily the casino wasnt packed. So we move to the new table, a couple people are irritated, a couple thought it was funny, I feel like a total ass, so I offer to buy anyone who wants one a drink, figuring this will smooth things over and loosen the table up. Long story short, I play another 3 hours or so, end up walking to the cage up 4 and a half racks. Moral : Dump beer on the table, you'll run goot!

I did this in the $4-8 game at the Bellagio last fall. It wasn't totally my fault though. I had the beer on the table and was reaching up to fold the cards, when the guy next to me made a quick movement and banged into my arm, causing the beer to go everywhere on the table.
I got cut off, but that was about it. Wish I had run well afterwards [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
