This can't possibly be standard since that is the best turn card you can hope for except for a jack. If you're folding this turn then you shouldn't have called the flop in the first place.

Im ok with the way you played it. You could also just call the flop. I know theres a player behind you but on this flop, they are going to fold almost all hands youre ahead of for one small bet anyways, and if the SB has Ax, theyre not going to fold. So an alternative plan could be to call the flop, hope SB folds, and then call down. Your plan is ok also, just letting you know you had another choice. If the flop was AhTh3d, then I would always raise the flop against this guy with the SB in the hand. On an A33 board, you have more options.

Edit: When the second ace hits, you should call down.
