Default Printing PDF Files

Does anyone know of a good program for printing PDF files from normal documents or screenshots? I had something installed on my old computer that was a pulldown printer on my print menu. It was free software, and instead of choosing "HP Laserjet" (or whatever your physical printer is), you could choose the PDF Printer, and it would save a pdf file to your computer, which you could easily email.

Does anyone know what this program was, or know of anything like it?

Thanks!

Cute PDF

With very large documents, I have had it crash the source program. So be sure to save before printing to it. Otherwise works well and is free.

When Adobe tried to make me pay full price for a new Acrobat Writer because I hadn't upgraded the old for for a few years, I googled this:

http://www.docudesk.com/

Costs a few bucks. Works great. Easy installation. Never had any problems creating PDFs from various programs and nobody has ever reported any problems in reading them.

I've used a free app called "PDFCreator". Worked fine.
