Re: LC: KK at the 11s, Standard?
I don't think I'd bother betting a 4-handed A-high flop here. I generally raise less pre-flop, but I know a lot of people prefer the bigger raise with AA/KK and smaller blinds.

Re: LC: KK at the 11s, Standard?
I'm raising a little more preflop, probably 240.
On the flop, I'm pretty much done with the hand when I see that ace. We're just not going to take down this pot with a c-bet into three people often enough to continue in my opinion. |

[/ QUOTE ] i probably just check and fold the flop as well. however, note that the converter is busted on this hand and it could easilly be 30/60 not 20/40. citanul |

Re: LC: KK at the 11s, Standard?
I'd raise her up to about 270 here. Donks will still call you at the $11's with Ax but you're making them pay. This exact situation is one that I struggle with alot. More so with QQ than KK but still a struggle nonetheless. You want action with these hands but there's nothing worse psychologically than that stupid ace flopping (even though it'll only happen one in five times).
I think with this flop you check fold, unless somebody throws a really weak prober out there. |
