Five months after opening, Caesars Palace's poker room is going to have minor renovations that could possibly be done before this weekend.
About five tables are going to be removed from the main floor to make space for a lounge. The lounge will be located in what I call the "artic corner" where the air conditioning is particularly strong (back right corner as you walk in). I think the lounge will be somewhat walled off. There will be a second lounge in the high-limit area. Three tables will be removed from there to make space. This is obviously a direct reaction to the Venetian's spacious room and lounge areas. |

Anything to give the room a little life and personality is good.

[/ QUOTE ] Isn't it really more of a reaction to their massively overbuilt room that has nothing if not extra space? Venetian is succeeding because they are giving the house away, not because of their lounges. Sometimes casino execs are pretty dumb. |

nothing will save this room until they have a "rail" and/or move their room over into the public eye.
You get absolutely 0 dead money from slot players, sports bettors, and guys coming out of PURE that struck out for the evening. I hate walking down that hall. |

[/ QUOTE ] I am a huge Rome historian so I just like the theme at Ceasar's that is why I like playing there. I was looking to check out the Wynn or Mirage on the 2nd day. I know the Mirage has 1/2 NL with a 200 max. Does the Wynn spread 1/2NL with around a 100-500 buy in? |

It is just my preference. Need I remind you it has nothing to do with you....oh and your attempt to compare the two and make a joke at the same time truly sucked. Also I didn't say I only play at Ceasar's. I jsut play there at least 1 day on any trip I go on because I like the theme. Its really not that far fecthed. |
