Default JTo vs. LAG

Villains stats are 81/13/0.7 after 50 hands

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 3 folds, Hero completes, BB (Villain) raises, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, Villain bets, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Villain bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 5 BB

1) Standard hand?

2) I was going to c/r any non-ace or king that wasn't [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the turn, no matter it's suit.

3) I was going to donk any non-ace or king that was a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Thoughts?

P.S. Yes Villain did successfully get voted onto my buddy list.

Default Re: JTo vs. LAG

I've been known to raise JTo HU in a blind battle, but my HU aggression levels are borderline psychotic. With THIS guy I think calling preflop would be better... but it's something to think about.

I'd strongly consider check/raising this flop. I know my reasoning makes no sense anywhere outside of my own head, but this is the kind of flop where I don't consider him showing aggression to bet the flop. It's my patented "check-raise for information and see if he has the stones to 3-bet."

I like your plans in 2 and 3. Shame the board didn't cooperate. Nh.
