Default Exam beat

Had a German exam for today. I walked into the exam hall witha few pens thinking I was all set. Then I see everyone has a cassette player. I quickly think it might just be a coincidence and everyone decided to bring a lot some tapes to listen to before the exam.

Wrong, I was meant to bring one as well so I could do the exam which included a listening part.

So I fail my German course instead! YAY!

Is this college?

Theoretically*, someone in this situation could go immediately to his clinic and tell them he's been severely depressed the past week or so and that he can't think straight. He could get a note from his doctor and take the note to his dean and tell him the situation. He wouldn't need to deal directly with his prof.

Works every time.

Too much effort I'd rather just fail. BTW this is an English college, but I guess dean for me means head of sixth form (college students = sixth form).

As far as German bad beats are concerned, this is a coinflip.

England isn't too bad apart from all the third world immigrants. I am considering a move to Iceland however.
