Default dial up sufficient?????

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum (move if so). I am moving to a new home where DSL service isn't currently available. Is dial-up service sufficient to play up to 4 tables (most i play right now)? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sufficient? Yes.

Tolerable? Possibly not.

You could also try Satellite.

One of my closest friends lives about 60 miles from the nearest city of 2000 and he get's decent speed. Upload is slow, but that isn't as necessary as download I believe.

I play 4 tables on a SLOW dial up connection. One thing you may want to check into is verizon's internet via cell phone.
