Default A tale of KQo

I have about 13k in tracker now, and if I have learned one thing from my stats, it is that I shouldn't ever play KQo. I have lost 60BB or -.45 BB avg for a very poor expectation. I imagine all of this loss is coming from its ease of domination, and its general "intrinsic liability" of not being suited.

I feel like if this hand is profitable, as it clearly has all in equity against many PF hands, It requires such difficult postflop play, that it effectively an unprofitable holding.

Thoughts about this cracked out theorem?

How does anyone

um you are wrong

and you've only had KQo about 120times or so, far far from enough for the sample to mean ANYTHING

Blunt and to the point.

Your point about sample size is understood.

However like I said, numbers aside, would you not say that KQo is a difficult holding, as well as KJo QJo etc, to play postflop, and this could be what causes its problems?

there are a ton of KQ hands posted here each day. Just look through and grunch em. That's the way to get some confidence.

I can tell you one thing. Don't stop raising it preflop from any position. Likewise, don't ever call two cold with it.

After about 72K hands, mostly .5/1 with 6K of some new 1/2, this hand is giving me .38BB/hand when I RAISE. When not raising this hand gives a -.22BB/hand... most of this came from my more passive days. My win % is 62 when raising FIRST IN. This hand is definitely profitable when played aggressively... love playing this hand FIRST IN with a raise.
