Default did I misplay this hand - QJs

Party Poker
Limit holdem Ring game
Limit: $1/$2
10 players
Converter

just one orbit in table but seemed quite loose flop% 40-60
no super aggressive players few good players

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Hero raises</font>, 2 folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

I considered just calling but decided to raise instead becouse so many limpers

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (15.5SB, 7 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets</font>, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Hero raises</font>, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

I had open ended straight draw and lot's of limpers so I raised

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (13.75BB, 6 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

what you think about turn? you prefer to bet or check?

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (13.75BB, 6 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets</font>, MP2 raises</font>, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets</font>, 2 folds, MP2 calls.

Results:
Final pot: 20.75BB

Perfect I'd say. Some might argue for a turn bet with so many people calling the flop bet but I'd probably go with the check. Great table.

Your hand converter is broken, but from what I can see this was perfectly played on all streets. Preflop and flop you can raise for value (preflop especially, you should raise this every time). Expecting five people to fold on the turn is ludicrous, and unless they all call it's not a good value bet either, so take the free card. River is standard.

grunch...

I like it...lots.

dont bet that turn. they gave you a free card. no way will they all fold. if you got lots of callers you could argue a bet is for equity but given the strength you showed Id expect many of villians to fold here....hence a check is fine.

(I kinda like hands that people post that are played perfectly...its a nice change)

TOO MANY HANDS!

Spig, stop posting. You've got 4 or 5 posts on the first 2 pages...that's too many.
