Default Derek Jeter\'s clutchiest moments that ever clutched

So, I'm actually thinking to myself: what exactly are the clutch things Jeter has accomplished to get him such a reputation? As far as I can tell he's got:

A game winning homer against BHKim in the 01 series

The "Flip" (in the ALDS)

And a play where he caught the ball and then dove into the stands later in July.

Is that it? I mean... really?

Against the Orioles in the ALDS he hit a flyout for a homer.

He's also a clubhouse leader when times get rough!

He's also dreamy.

But seriously. He **IS** valuable. On the most expensive team ever, he **IS** the 2nd best shortstop.

I think you underestimate how much clutchness is in those two points of batting average.

There is no other shortstop. The guy I assume you're referring to now plays third base.

Anyone who thinks Jeter is not valuable is, simply, wrong. In the ten years he's been on the team they've been in the playoffs every year, won six American League pennants and four World Series. He averages 123 runs scored and 206 hits per 162 games and was on base 2,660 times in the ten years.

I don't really think he has a reputation for being clutch. I think he has a reputation for being professional and smart.

And I'm jealous when you call him dreamy. I thought you loved me.
