I know nothing about my Villan. I just sat at the table about 3 hands ago. The only other info I think that would be prudent would be that he quick called then quick be the river. Im getting about 5-1 on the river bet here. Is anyone folding to that river bet? Also a comment on the turn bet. Does anyone like all in on the turn for the $55?

Really doubt the 5 or 4 helped him, I think this is an offset value bet, probably no more impoved than at the flop. I think Id put my last $25 in expecting to see crying calls from 2 pair.

I guess I should be more clear. You dont think he made a flush on the river with the quick calls then the lead out?

yes I like a turn shove. Yes he looks like a flush with the quick call and quick river bet. No I wouldn't fold.

and idiot straight draw got there as well as the flush draw from that river card. Nasty river....

A quick call usually means he doesn't really have to think hard. People see a flush draw and think "Cool I'm playing this to the river". I'd probably raise it to $20 on the flop because the board is so draw heavy and push the turn because the pot is big enough to take down and he may even be stupid enough to call the all in. If he folds then oh well you've took down a nice pot.

pre-flop: a strong argument can be made for raising here to thin out the competition and get good positioning.

flop: good; betting strong on this draw-happy board is definitely the right idea against (7) villains. At this point, UTG + 1 is probably on a draw, top pair, or badly slowplayed two-pair (K9, for example).

turn: good; the villain's check indicates one of (3) things:

- he's on a draw

- he wants to keep the pot small with top pair.

- he's still "slowplaying" two-pair

After calling your turn bet, I'm ruling out top pair (unless he's really bad) and two-pair (this hand would probably check-raise). Therefore, I'm guessing he has some sort of combo-draw like JT of diamonds. This hand should also fold, but alot of players seem to chase with this.

River: Unfortunately, the pot-odds force you into calling after he sucked out with the flush (just guessing here).

All-in-all, I think you played the hand correctly (though there's a good argument for raising pf).
