Default QQ

Opener is a TAG I've only played with for ~2 or 3 orbits. I have not played any hands against him yet and I haven't been able to observe his play in other hands. I'm not sure if he's on the tighter side or looser side, but the tight tags seem pretty rare in this game.

BET THREE-BET! j/k

I'd check call simply because I can't call a raise, and this is a prime bluffable river, AND I don't think much that we beat calls.

bet/fold. He is likely to call with a Jack or pocket pair, hoping that you fired the whole way with the ace of trump, but he's unlikely to bet a worse hand if checked to. Yes the 8 is ugly, but not as ugly as checking. Villain will only value bet with hands that beat you.

I 3-bet preflop. As played, I would just bet the river.

Bet. Your hand is well hidden. He could put you on a flush draw or straight draw that he will make a crying call. A lot of these TAGs don't even fold A-hi here, so punish them. FWIW I think if he had a K he would raise the turn a lot of times.

I thought this but didn't mention it. It's definitely a factor in the motivation to make a river bet.

If you 3-bet pf and lead the flop then you can check-call the river hoping villain will bet a worse hand.

As played you need to bet/call the river IMO.

What worse hands raise the river in this hand as played? Will villain bluff over 11% of the time hero bets?
