Default I felt like I played this wrong

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.

Another way to play this is raising the flop, which IMO is good idea. Your hand is either vulnerable to the lone K through T of hearts, or will not get any more action if another heart falls and villian has none. SB likes his hand enough to bet, and may call a flop raise. Then you can make a beefy bet on a non heart turn.

Looks ok to me. Personally, I prefer to raise on the flop to protect against something like AxK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. But raising the turn when a possible straight draw comes in is good too.
