Default Float like a butterfly....

Villain is TAG, seems solid. Was floating on the flop because I thought there was a decent chance he missed and i could steal on the turn....plus I had a weak draw. When the second 9 fell I thought I just HAD to bluff. Thoughts?

What stats did he have? How did you come to the conclucsion that he was a TAG?

I think it looks good.

pretty much exactly like i'd play 89/T9, sets as well.

to the other poster, his stats were like 22/8.

Looks like a set to me - I'd be raising a lone 9 here on the flop.

Question will be is he TAG enough to lay down an overpair - That's the key note

Yeah, looks okay--this play should be able to dump overpairs.

that's really the question berge...I assume people with stats that hover around 20vpip are capable of that until they show me otherwise. But I had to call his flop bet with something, and TP is the most reasonable thing to do it with.....he's gotta think he's behind here and drawing to 2 outs. I also have a TAG image if he's paying attention.

I like this play a lot, provided you're going to fold to a turn 3-bet/push (which I assume you are). Were his stats sufficient to show that he'd fold to aggression like this, or did you not have sufficient sample size?

Also, for good measure you could take my Intercontinental title belt (see avatar) and clock him with it too. The ref won't see a thing.

Default results

Villain let his timer run down to about 2 and folded.
