Default flopping the goods.....help 10-20

I have 800...other stacks are 1500. 3 limpers to me on the button i call with 75 hearts..full ring. Small blind makes it 80 to go..hes a fool. all 3 of us call. Flop is 9-8-6 all hearts. Sb leads for 150...one limper folds..the other smooth calls..what do i do here?

PS...i thought smooth calling was bad...and i'll explain why after some posts

This is 2K NL right? I would be crying if didn't have a full stack here... I would be smooth calling and hoping for the 4th heart on the turn as one of these two guys is bound to have the ace of hearts. I am interested to hear why you thought smooth calling was bad.

Being as short as you are it doesn't really matter what you do.

actualy...ya i had just lost half my stack the hand before with kings against aces. Obviously i deserved this hand and of course i was pissed i only had 800 behind. I think smooth calling is bad because a heart would kill my action. I felt making a small raise was better because somebody might try and reraise to protect an overpair with a single heart type hand. Also...its not like if i raise im chasing the ace of hearts away...or even the king of hearts depending on how much i decide to raise.

Small raise man, enough for the ace to call.

with your stack, smooth call all day and twice on sunday.

u have 570 left after a flop call and position. the pot is $810 after you call. i can't imagine a card that could fall on the turn that would keep you from getting your 570 in at some point, they would have to have a hand they wouldnt call a flop raise with anyway.

it's not like your 8k deep and they are too, i call, call and then push the rest but i would imagine 9 times out of 10, you'll be able to call the rest of your stack here.

I don't see how another heart kills your action, what is the guy smooth callin with if not a heart draw?

he could smooth call with a pair..it was a fish game. Anyway, i decided to make basically a mini raise and made it 330 to go. They both folded and i wanted to kill myself. Although..i still think raising is the best play.
