When to call on end w/ A high? 3/6

Villian is 33/8/1.33 after 90 hands. Should I call or fold this river bet?

I dont like a call here. This is a small pot and villian could easily have a rag. 1.33 isnt TOO aggressive so I wouldnt worry about calling here. Try calling in bigger pots, or against laggier opponents

Well, a byproduct of taking the free card with outs on the turn (and also possibly with the best hand) is that you did induce a river bluff.

However, that river card does add ways that you can lose, and any pair does also have you beat.

A call basically hopes for 9x or Tx (or I guess maybe KJ). But Villain hasn't been especially aggressive at the table so far, and while that doesn't mean he isn't bluffing here versus your show of weakness on the turn, the odds you're getting aren't phenomenal either.

Probably I fold, but the answer doesn't seem obvious to me.

I fold. The only way I call a river like this is if i've seen the villan takes shots on the river in the past or bluff a good amount.

i wouldn't call the river bet here for reasons listed by other people above. if you were going to call a river bet here, it would have been much better to bet the turn (folding to a c/r), and checking behind on the river.
