Default bet or checkraise

200 NL blinds $1/$2

Villan appears to be LAG and just lost $200 in previous hand calling down on a medium strength hand and losing.

Hero $205 in the BB
Villan $458 from the CO

Hero has J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB posts $1, BB posts $2 MP calls $2 Villan calls from CO $2, SB calls $1, Hero raises to $10, Villan calls, all other fold.

Flop ($24) Two players

J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero bets $18, Villan calls

Turn ($60) 2 players

5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero bets $45, Villan calls

River ($150) 2 players

Hero????

Hero has $132 remaing, Villan covers.

How much should I bet, $75 or push, or does anyone try for a checkraise?

Push.

This is an awful spot for a check/raise.

Because?
No real draws to have missed? You figure he has a medium hand and will just show it down?

Yes.

Also, no second best hands (that won't call a push, anyway) got there.

You could argue for a value bet, if that's your style, but I prefer a push.

I think I might be the villian in this hand... Do you have the site and hand number or anything you feel you want to show?

Nope wasn't me then. But it is striking how close it is to one I played last night or the night before on stars.

I would be tempted to play it tricky on the river. Betting 20-30 to induce a bluff. If he has 9T how can he not try to move you off your hand. He is a LAG after all.
But that's a bit silly , push seems best. He might have turned some kinda two pair hand or maybe he played his set slow. Some LAG's tend to slowplay all their good hand to death. Also if he by a longshot would happen to have a Jack with a decent kicker he might make a big call against you.
If he has 89 or something similar so be it.

I would push.
