Larry Brown
Does everyone realize that Larry Brown is on the verge of earning $50 million dollars for coaching the Knicks for one year? I think he may be the smartest man alive. He took a job for an enormous contract with a team that could not possibly win, filled with players that he knew he couldn't coach, knowing that after one year they would try to buy him out or fire him. I think it's great, the Knicks deserve it for letting Isiah run their team. And also for getting Dick Bavetta assigned to every must win game they had in the playoffs during the 90's.

Re: Larry Brown
They said he'll probally be on the West Coast next year if he's released most likely picked up by the Warriors or the Kings (wouldn't mind at all). But if he were to goto the Kings, he needs to get along with Artest, if he doesn't the Kings don't need any part of him.

The Knicks are hoping they can buy out Brown for $25 million of the $40 million owed to him. It could be an ugly negotiation. Even at the 11th hour last July, agent Joe Glass squeezed out a fifth year after the Knicks orginally held firm on four years, a source said. Brown could wind up in Sacramento or Golden State and there even was a report about Charlotte. |
