Ray Zee is coming out with a limit hold'em shorthanded book in the fall. However, most books just have shorthanded sections. Weighing the Odds, SSII, Hold'em for Advanced Players, and How Good is Your Limit Hold'em? all have good parts on shorthanded play. How Good is Your Limit Hold'em is just a few very good hand examples though. If you are looking for how to play specific hands, but have the fundamentals down you are better off reading and posting hand examples in the shorthanded forums.

You know what I found useful? The heads up section in HoH 2. The strategies in that section have proven effective against decent players. Be prepared to deal with re-raises often though since your starting hand selection will be much looser and your opponents will suspect you'll be raising with junk given the high percentage of raising.

You don't mention what game you're talking about. Steiner's Thursday Night Poker covers 5 stud, 5 draw, 7 stud, 7 stud hi-low, hold 'em, and Omaha, all from a five- and six-handed perspective.

If you're just interested in fixed-limit hold 'em, greatwhite's list is good, but the Matt Maroon book should be added.

HOH2 deals exclusively with no limit tournaments, with emphasis on multitable tournaments.
