Why Women Are Smarter Than Men
Friend of mine told me this story:
He plays pretty big. One night he cashes in and gets 3 $5,000 chips and puts them in his jacket. Next day he gets back to the casino and he has only two of them. Looks everywhere--every pocket, in his pants, in the car, can't find the missing chip. So he wants to call home to see if the chip is there. But he dares not tell his wife he may have lost $5,000. So he calls and tells her he's missing a chip. She asks how much. He says $1,000. She says she'll look and call him back. Little while later she calls and tells him, "C'mon home, I have your thousand dollars for you."

in 7th grade i didnt hand in a project, and when the teacher told me she never received it, i said that i handed it in and that she must have lost it. later in the week she told me she had found it (? lol). sort of amused, i kept a straight face and said, "oh that's a relief. so what did i get on it?" "B."

Oh wow Prev I did the exact same thing in HS. Knew I bombed a test...handed it in and went back later and grabbed the test and discarded. Teacher remembered me handing it in and gave it to me as a take-home test. Not the most ethical thing ever, but I was young.
