$16 Basic Early KK Hand
Hi,
I'm doing a major review of my game, I might be posting a few hands that are relatively straightforward, i want to check I'm getting my basics right. Anyway here goes, very early so no reads. I'm thinking I could have done with a large preflop raise, also when the ace came how should I have played it? I'm thinking I played it the worst way, if I was commiting myself I should have shoved right? On a less co-ordinated board could this have been a check-call or am I best just getting away from a preflop raiser when an A falls? Re: $16 Basic Early KK Hand
the reason to push preflop is because you are confident the other player will call your bet because he initially reraised you. At this point getting cute with a bet of 650 is not the play to make. Make your decisions easier and get your opponent to make the decision of playing AK for all his chips or not preflop.
With Aces I might try this small reraise crap at times but the all in is still probably the better play |

Re: $16 Basic Early KK Hand
Yes you are comming yourself when you raise 650. You might as well put all the chips in. P00SH!

Re: $16 Basic Early KK Hand
Thanks guys, I get a little too excited with KK and feel the need to stack someone. That's another leak identified that I can work on.

Re: $16 Basic Early KK Hand
Overall I wouldn't say there's a whole lot wrong with your game, thought you were probably a 2+2 reader - played a shedload against you on Friday. Hope you were having as good a day as I was having a bad one...
