opponent and i have only 25 hands together. he is 41/14 over that interval.

he wants to see cheap river, I just can't see this being better ace here.

I don't like preflop though.

If you are going to 3bet a7s (yuck) preflop at least have the cajones to ai the turn and go to showdown. Your opponent doesnt even have a fullbuyin infront of him.

cuz he has no FE against this stack and almost never has the best hand based on preflop

why would you want FE? you have trips.

the second part is way off, it's much more likely (although not impossible) that he has a pocket pair/suited connector instead of a better ace. i think people underestimate how often players try to make moves on an AA board after a rr preflop, hoping you will lay down JJ-KK

because we have no idea how he plays postflop and we have no idea against what hand range we have fold equity preflop.

villain is most likely checking to us on any flop so essentially it becomes a situation in which villain is darkchecking and we are dark betting.
