Default Burning DVD\'s

A chick I work with also works at an adult video store. She wants me to copy some of the DVD's she has rented, but it's "copyrighted" or blocked or whatever, so I can't copy it on my laptop.

There has to be a program I can use to fix this or something.

Please lead me in the right direction.
