Default Bubble % +/-

Hi,

Playing Crypto (NL, 10 players) my bubble % are the following:

£10+£1 -1.4% (600 tournays)
£20+£2 -2.3% (300 tournays)
£30+£3 -6.5% (250 tournays)

My finishing % (all buy-ins):

1st 12.4%
2nd 12.4%
3rd 12.8%
4th 15.1%
5th 14.7%
6th 12.2%
7th 7.6%
8th 5.4%
9th 3.7%
10th 3.6%

I'm happy with ITM and ROI. I know that I'm playing a bit too tight so I'm more often than not short stacked on the bubble. Even so I am wondering if anyone thinks the above figures are a bit extreme?

Also, does variance swing one way or the other depending if you are playing too tight or not?

I am thinking about buying SnGPT, although it doesn't support Crypto hand histories. Anyone else use SnGPT for Crypto and do you find it useful even though you cannot import hand histories?

Thanks

I wouldn't put to much into that statistic, but it shouldn't be negative. Could be a lot of resons, but my guess is that you wait a bit too long before you change gears.

Not being able to impor hands with SNGPT would indeed make it more of a hassle to use, but it's still useful.

Is this the same as the category named Bubble % +/- in the AleoMagus spreadsheet? I am a winning player at the 27's at pokerstars with a roi around 20 but I just win too few to get a bigger roi. I have the following itm statistics..

1st - 11.8%
2nd - 16.5%
3rd - 17.3%

Itm is 45.7% which is good but I am obviously not satisfied with getting so many seconds and thirds. I have abubble % at +5 and you say it's bad to be positive in this category. Should I take bigger chances at bubble time considering all this and can I do that at such a low level as the 27's or are they calling med down too much.. I mean, I'm pretty satisfied with 20% roi right now anyway but would like to improve before moving up to the 60's.

I never said that a positive bubble +/- is bad.
