Default 78s on 777JK board

the AA reminded me of a hand yesterday..

HERO limped UTG with 78s (ok, that's probably questionable with LAG (44/16) next to act)... LAG raised, everyone folds to bb...

Flop:

7 7 7
bb checks, HERO checks, raiser bets, bb calls, HERO calls...

turn: J

bb checks, HERO checks, raiser bets, bb raises, HERO "thinks" and calls, raiser calls.

river: k

bb checks, HERO bets, raiser calls, bb calls

bb shows J6o, LAG raiser show AA!!!

I was going for call, reraise on turn because LAG could easily have Ax or 22, could not believe he just called with AA

if raiser had 3 bet, and bb called, i might've just called and see the river.. in heaven, i would've check raised river K, raiser 3 bets, bb calls cuz he protects J6o and i cap...

what do you think?

Preflop is a very aggressive game is suicide. Also, bet the flop, do you think they are going to fold? No, ace high is calling you all the way down and going nuts if they hit a pair, any pair is giving you retarded action.

3-bet turn, LAG to your left is mucking if he doesn't have a pair so smoothcalling almost certainly doesn't affect whether he continues or not. Also by 3-betting you disguise your hand as a J or whatever

i think LAG would call w/ 1 or 2 ocs or maybe even any smaller pair for one more bet getting 9.5 to 1 to suck out...

I thought about betting the flop but I don`t like it. LAG will raise almost all the time and we want to give BB chance to spike a pair on the turn.
C/r turn seems fine too but I may want to donk it against LAG that raise/call down with aces.

You missed a million bets by not check raising the flop.

Oh and your turn check makes me puke in my mouth a little.

Fold preflop. Postflop is FPS. You're OOP and the pfr is directly to your left (you can trap the field for 2 bets), 2 huge reasons to fastplay right away and checkraise the flop just like you would with a pocket pair. You can't afford to miss these bets. What if the pfr checked the turn behind with A high? think about all the action you potentially missed.
