That's a hefty price for a so-so comp in my opinion. The hard drive in particular looks crappy for poker. 5400 RPMs.

My work laptop is similar to yours, but not as good - but they gave me top of the line on everything.
Latitude D620, 14" screen with that glossy coat, 60 or 40 gig drive? I don't remember which, it's not here yet.. and the integrated Intel graphics with the 6 cell battery, but |

I agree that it may be a bit of a heafty price, but i have been searching high and low for another company that offers the WUXGA (1900x1200) screen and still can't find one.
What else in particular should i be looking for if this computer is just so-so? They do offer a 7200rpm drive, 60gb for 30 and 80gb for 70 |

Dell does offer students discounts if you go to college.
http://powernotebooks.com/ is a good place for fast machines at decent prices. AFAIK they're a reliable place to buy from - as always do your homework with places like resellerratings.com before you drop any money. |
