I think he has realized by now, that you probably have at least a queen. You should chop often enough to call this, I think.

[/ QUOTE ] My mindset was never to fold but possibly what about a raise and if you think it would yield profit? And if i get 3 bet, instant fold would be best, thats if I am playing smart poker. |

Re: Can you tell which card beat me?
if you raise are you able to fold to his three bet? many overly aggressive opponents are very willing to three bet here with just a queen and if you folded your chop to that three bet it would be a total catastrophe. just calling is easily the best line imo. maybe someone else can weight in and change my mind, but it would have to be a damn strong arguement.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree with you Beard. I am playing good poker Beard, IMHO I would realize that there is nothing extra to gain from the raise. I would think that if I were inclined to do even the simplist math on this it would show a -EV. That is just my uneducated theory. But now that it is the morning after and my fresh brain rereads the hand posting, it has come clear to me to only raise if I want to spew without anything to gain from it. If I was playing good poker, I could simply just call as there are more ways for me to behind or chopping instead of ahead. So I knew last night I couldnt fold to a 3 bet unfortunately, but this morning I know I would not worry bout the 3 bet because I would just call. A good nights rest does wonders for my blonde moments. |
