Any reason I shouldn't eBay an ipod video?

Ran really well in poker tonight and am gonna get myself a 60gb black iPod video. I can eBay it for $370 or get it from Apple direct for $399 shipped including free laser engraving.

Will not buying it directly from Apple affect my warranty or have any other negative consequences? Any of you laser engrave it with your name or something?

I'd spend 29 dollars for the piece of mind of guaranteeing a brand new, non-refurbished product that is guaranteed a warranty, etc.

I bought mine off of eBay, no problems with it. Register it with Apple once you get it, and you're covered under the warranty.

Don't laser engrave it, lol.

Are you a student? If you're a student (or really in anyway affiliated with a university I think) you can get a discount on apple program that would probably make up for the price difference.
