WPEX Hand: Good Turn Semi-Bluff ?
WPEX 1/2 5max
Villain is semi-loose/aggressive and running kind of bad. We played a heads up hand not long ago where I capped pre-flop w/ AKs, then capped the flop when two of my suit came. I spiked a king on the turn, kept betting, and he called down with an unknown losing hand. The very next hand I get QQ and win another big pot from him. This hand happens maybe one orbit later.: I open in the CO w/ 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I will make this play maybe 25% of time. Villain cold calls on button. Taggish BB calls. Flop (6.5 SB): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Check, I bet, Call, Call Turn (4.75 BB): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Check, I bet, Villian Raises, BB folds, I 3-bet |

Too much. Once he raises, your fold equity is virtually nil.

Re: WPEX Hand: Good Turn Semi-Bluff ?
betting this turn isnt terrible since you have so many outs, but if either player didn't peel the flop with total air, the best play you can make is to check.
