Default Pocket Kings: Was there an alternative way to Play?

This is not a bad beat or cold deck post. I won't post at least for now the outcome of the hand, but anyway this is my second hand of the session.

Party Poker 10/20 NLH. One limper with $1500 and mid position player with around $2000 raises to $66. I have red Kings in the small blind with a $1300 stack. I reraise to
$225. Limper calls. Original raiser now pushes. What
is my best play? I have absolutely no reads.

Is this a no brainer? If I'm asking a seemingly novice question my apologies.

Don't assume I'm bitching about running into Aces.

Bruce

Did you lose $700 on your very first hand?

I detect sarcasm but no to your question.

I went from a limit game to this game. After posting the blinds I was going to add on.

100BB or less KK vs AA is an unavoidable confrontation, I think. If this isn't the consensus, I'd like to hear alternative routes. The possibility of running into someone overplaying their AK-AJ, QQ-99 is good enough to overrule your gut feelings of running into Aces. There are just so many awfuls.

"Was there an alternative way to Play?"

1) To maximize against a worse hand? - No

2) To save yourself a bad beat against a worse hand that would have folded prior to the river and not sucked out? - See BB&V Forum

3) To avoid running into AA? - Not with that stack and not with a deeper one without a read that villain can't ever have another hand other than AA or the other KK.

If you are going to have that title on your thread, maybe you should actually let us all in on what you did. No?

You could've just left out the part about what dude had...

"What is my best play"

sigh....

Stupid questions beget stupid responses I suppose. Obviously villian had pocket Aces and I went busto in two hands. [censored] happens in poker and this was a situation where I was destined to go broke unless I played the hand like a pussy BTF and I may have been able to avoid getting them all in. However don't remember even what came on flop. I also think if I were a lot deeper I may have have folded to a big push b/c folding went through my mind with me being shallow. I was pretty sure he had pocket Aces but on the web I see to much weird [censored] to normally even consider folding in this situation. I'm not even sure if I ever have folded pocket Kings BTF in a cash game.
