Default Is this common in Limit Hold\'em? (Hand Reading related)

*disclaimer: I'm a NL fish who's ventured into unfamiliar waters...been playing some .5/1 (6max) as a change of pace. I've only got about 5k hands under my belt.

In my small, small sample size I've run across quite a few players who try to blow me off hands(in heads up pots) by representing things they don't have... raising when an A comes on the turn or third of a suit hits the board. Then they go on to 'bluff' raise the river and have only middle/bottom pair, no draw.

I've only managed to find this out because I've been fortunate to run good lately, so many of the times they'd be representing a hand (like the flush) that I was holding or could beat. It makes me wonder though how many times I was blown off a marginal hand like TPGK that may have been best.

My hand reading in Limit needs some work. I find that in a heads up pot I'm not always sure where I am in the hand.

HU, TPGK usually deserves a showdown. In the absence of a read on your opponent or his hand, against aggression you'll often want to go into calldown mode. That being said, there are certainly situations where you'll want to let it go, like when your man is .3 AF and going nuts on a coordinated board.
