Default Interested in a CT, Southern MA 2+2 Game?

I live in central CT and I am interested in seeing how many 2p2ers live in the area and would be interested in a tournament style game. I know Dcasper lives 2 towns away, but thats the only one I know is close. I have seen a few other CT guys around but am unaware of their names. I'm about 30 minutes south of Springfield, MA so I figured that maybe someone up there might be interested.

I would need to know:
1: Are you interested
2: What buy-in is suitable for you (I was thinking lower buy-in with unlimited rebuys for the first hour maybe?)
3: What game is more to your liking (limit, NL, etc)

Count me in. Tourneys with Buy-ins of $25-50 would be fine for a regular game. Limit games 1/2 to 3/6 would be fun. NL $50-100.
If it's a once or twice a year thing, bump the tourney fee to $100.

I know there's a few of us down here. I'll PM some of the names I've seen in the NH real estate threads.

If this flys and becomes a regular monthly game, I can alternate hosting it.

Cool. I would rather do a tournament rather than cash game only because it creates a limit to how much I can donk off to you guys If it goes off, I could see doing it monthly or every two months.

Moving to New Haven in the fall. Would be down for cash or tourney games whatever buy-in is fine. Keep me posted

Only trouble with a tourney is the first out has to wait a long time for side game action...

This is very true. Maybe a $25 or $50 NL game is a better option. It all depends on how many we can get to play. Maybe we do a turbo tourney of sorts and cash game right after. This way we can limit the tournament time wise and the cash game can get started once 3 people are out of the tourney. I would need to know what everyone prefers to play.

I might be interested. I personally prefer a NL tourney or a Limit cash game. $1/2 or $2/4 sounds fine for limit, especially with no rake. I do a Turbo Tourney followed by cash game at my home every other weekend, and it works out great. The guys who get knocked out first, don't have to wait very long before the cash game starts. Where exactly in CT are we talking about?

IIRC, Acoustix is in Meriden.
I'm in Hamden, down by New Haven.

You're somewhere on the west edge, maybe New Milford???

Would you be willing to do $25+Rebuy/addon NL tourney followed by 1/2 LHE cash game?

That sounds good to me, but don't base anything on my preferences. I would love to try to make one of these, but I do host my own weekly home game, and I have 3 jobs and a little boy - time is hard to come by. That's why I play mostly online these days. But again, I do love the live game and I'd love to try to make one of your games if you get them started.
