Default nother noob question - rebuying

In limit, anything less than 12bb is a rebuy.

Assuming you buyin for the max 100bb, what is your rebuy point if you get stuck? I've been rebuying usually if I lose 2/5 to 1/2 my stack. (Yeah, i've been getting stuck alot lately. )

Every time I fall below 100xBB. If I post SB and fold, I reload.

most of SSNLers do the same.

that's really interesting. as a fairly new player i've been wondering the same thing recently too. maybe i should start applying this principle to help cutting my losses.

This is why:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

UTG ($29.11)
MP ($53.29)
Hero ($19.39)
Button ($55.90)
SB ($24.50)
BB ($111.40)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, 2 folds, BB calls $1.

Flop: ($2.60) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $0.25, Hero raises to $0.5, BB calls $109.90 (All-In), Hero calls $17.64 (All-In).

Turn: ($130.89) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($130.89) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $130.89

At the time I was 5 tabling, lost a hand, then another window took focus away so I wasnt able to reload before getting dealt another hand.

BTW.. I just [censored] noticed that this was a str8 flush... how [censored] often do you flop a str8 flush... makes me wish i hadnt played AK the hand before....

so far .... 24K hands at FT - I haven't even made a Straight flush - let alone flopped one. I haven't even had a straight flush that I folded preflop. Off the top of my head I've had maybe 30+ straight flush draws and missed all of them...

90bb is my threshold. it gets annoying to do it every time you drop below 100 if youre playing enough tables.
